Our Vision
For Nottingham Outlaws to become the leading community rugby league club in the Midlands, with the best playing, training and social facilities in the region.
Our Fundraising Objectives
In July 2022 Nottingham Outlaws launched Project 40 – a major initiative aimed at raising the funds to transform our existing home at Lenton Lane into a modern, state of the art community rugby league venue that will help to attract and retain players, volunteers and supporters of all ages. This exciting initiative coincides with the 40th anniversary of the birth of community rugby league in the city.
At the time of project launch our Lenton Lane facilities are badly in need of modernisation. The location and footprint of the Lenton Lane ground is excellent but the floodlights, clubhouse and changing rooms – whilst functional – are coming to the end of their respective lifespans, and are in need of refurbishment and redevelopment.
Whilst the club does its best to attract and retain players, our basic facilities are inhibiting the growth of our club and the sport of rugby league and our plan is to transform them and bring them up to the standard that players and volunteers expect in the modern day.
Our goal is to raise £400,000 by the end of 2024 to build a new clubhouse and dramatically improve our Lenton Lane facilities, to coincide with the 40th anniversary of community rugby league being played in the city.
