Nottingham Outlaws are pleased to announce a new partnership with Harper Recruitment Group, a leading East Midlands Recruitment Agency headquartered in the city. The new initiative sees Harper providing employment support and advice to players who are looking to join the Outlaws, as well as the existing students who are on the club’s scholarship scheme.
Outlaws chairman Richard Johnson was quick to show his delight at the news commenting “in the first instance Harper will be able to help potential new players who are moving into the city and are seeking work, as well as our existing players who may want to realign their careers to fit better with their rugby activities.”
The tie up with Harper is another key piece of the jigsaw as Outlaws look to build a solid player recruitment programme over the next 12 months as well as significantly expanding their scholarship scheme through its newly launched Study:Train:Play programme.
With over 30 years of experience in recruiting a wide range of positions across the city, Harper will be able to support the Outlaws players in other ways too.
Indeed, Chairman Johnson was keen to point these benefits out, adding “In the first instance Harper will of course be able to help players find employment in the city which will be of great help. However, I am equally keen on what Harper can provide for our scholars in a number of areas, including career advice, help with cv and interview preparation and all of the other associated skills needed to help them progress in the world of work.”
