For the 2022 season, the RFL have launched Our League Active – Rugby League’s first centralised membership scheme for the community game. The aim of this is to create a sustainable future for the community game and to further develop the services offered by the RFL to the community clubs.
Whilst the core principle of Our League Active is for a club’s individual participating members (or members’ legal guardians) to make direct payment to the RFL for their membership, Nottingham Outlaws have taken the decision to centralise payments via our own annual membership scheme and make payment to the RFL on our members’ behalf.
Alex Whittle, Secretary of Nottingham Outlaws “As a club we’ve been heavily involved in the Our League Active consultation process with the RFL over the off-season. Whilst we are fully behind the concept of making the community game sustainable, we felt as a club we needed to centralise the administration of the membership payments to make life easier for our members. Outlaws offer weekly events such as touch rugby league 52 weeks a year! Even after taking into account our new pricing structure it still represents incredible value to our members.”
From 1st February 2022, Nottingham Outlaws’ annual membership pricing structure is as follows:
- Full Membership – £75
- Concession Membership (students in full time education, OAP, unemployed) – £45
Becoming an Outlaws member is a great way to support the club and generate vital funds to help with the day-to-day running of the club and our facilities. Outlaws membership entitles you to the following benefits:
- Access to all training sessions (dependent on age group). Non-members will be required to pay £4 per session (£2 concessions)
- Access to adult touch and tag rugby sessions (available to ages 14+). Non-members will be required to pay £4 per session (£2 concessions)
- Free entry to Outlaws home games
Club and RFL registration details will be released on the 1st February. The pricing structure for the Outlaws Junior and Women’s sections will be confirmed in due course.
