Nottingham Outlaws are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a Sport England’s Small Grant towards funding the design and build of new changing facilities at their Lenton Lane ground.
Outlaws have recently received four nearly-new containers from T-SQUARED, a specialist design company that delivers complex design and build projects for the pharmaceutical and other high-technology industries.
The two larger containers will be converted to changing rooms, doubling the changing space available on-site , enabling the club to play multiple fixtures at the ground on the same day.
The project is scheduled to start almost immediately with foundations and services being extended to the site where the changing rooms will be situated. Once completed the units will be moved to their new home and converted internally to provide fully serviced shower changing areas for two teams, doubling the capacity at the ground.
Outlaws Chairman Richard Johnson was quick to thank Sport England for their award, adding “Everyone at Nottingham Outlaws is committed to improving our Lenton Lane facilities and this new grant award from Sport England has been gratefully received and will increase the number of matches that we can host at our ground on matchdays.”
Indeed the Outlaws Chairman was keen to remind the Outlaws faithful of the clubs commitment to improve the home of Rugby League in Nottingham, adding “The investment in the Outlaws changing rooms are the latest piece in a larger package of improvements that we are committed to undertaking in order to build a home for rugby league that everyone in the club can be proud of.”
