Thatto Heath 54 : Outlaws 4
Nottingham Outlaws inaugural season in the Women’s National League One came to an end on Sunday when they fell to a 54-4 defeat at the hands of runaway leaders Thatto Heath. Sharlston 40 : Outlaws 12
Nottingham Outlaws travelled up the M1 for their final away match of the current Yorkshire League campaign looking to avenge a 32-22 home loss against third placed Sharlston back in June this year. Despite a valiant effort in which they matched the home side for long periods they eventually ran out of steam as the home side inflicted a 40-12 defeat on the Outlaws. Outlaws 4 : Illingworth 44
Nottingham Outlaws entertained Illingworth in a Women’s National League One game at Lenton Lane on Sunday. Both teams were looking to cement their place in the top four play off spot but unfortunately for the Outlaws it was the West Yorkshire outfit that took the spoils with an emphatic 44-4 defeat of the Outlaws. Keighley 24 : Outlaws 22
Nottingham Outlaws came within a whisker of a major upset on Saturday when they almost snatched a point with the last kick of the game at Keighley Albion. It would have been well deserved too as the Outlaws led for most of the game before a late burst by the home team denied them a deserved victory but instead, they had to settle for a 24-22 defeat in what was a highly entertaining game. Outlaws 24 : Wigan St Patricks 14
Nottingham Outlaws entertained Wigan St Patricks in a Women’s National League One match at Lenton Lane on Sunday. In a dominant display the Outlaws proved too strong and too fast for their illustrious visitors, running out 24-14 winners and in doing they avenged an early season defeat at the hands of the Lancastrians as well as giving their play-off chances a huge boost.
